NCS is staffed by teachers who are caring and committed.  They hold credentials and experience in their respective fields.  Classroom teachers are certified in their areas and give one hundred and fifty percent to their students.  Phonics, reading, language arts, science, social studies and Bible are the centerpieces of each day.  Spanish and computer skills are a plus and are offered weekly.  Chorus, band, art and drama are the core of a wonderful Fine Arts program that rounds out their exposure to the creative side of learning.  Physical education and recess allow for growth and development.

We are also proud of a tutorial program that allows for students who need extra reinforcement in certain skills to gain strength in those areas.  We have a more structured remediation program that utilizes teachers with additional certification who can help students with diagnosed learning differences.

Our elementary students score in the top percentiles on standardized tests. Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math offer students reinforcement in a positive way.  Field trips are encouraged at every grade level and class activities make learning even more fun.
