Dear NCS Families,

Now that we have settled into the daily routine of a new school year, I find myself focusing on gratitude. Author G.B. Stern once wrote, “silent gratitude isn't much use to anyone.” In voicing my gratitude, I want to thank…

The NCS Board for their commitment to Christian education and providing the leadership to tirelessly review and adopt policies that will allow us to be fiscally responsible, to maintain rigorous academics and to instill spiritual focus on every level.

NCS faculty and staff, who spend countless hours on instruction, strategic planning and implementation of academic philosophies that prepare our children for college and beyond. I salute them for their dedication, perseverance, and passion for educating children at NCS.

NCS parents for your generous support despite the volatile economic struggles facing our nation. God bless you for making the choice to place your children at NCS so that we may prepare them for today’s challenges and life eternal.

NCS students for allowing us the opportunity to partner with you in building lifelong relationships, sharing passion for learning and listening to what God is saying to each of you through his Word.

As President John F. Kennedy once said, As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” My vision for NCS is that this attitude of intentional action permeates our campus. God is a loving, giving God. As our spiritual theme for this year reminds us, every day we should “Be still and know that HE is God,” and be grateful for His blessings.

In Him,
Connie Jo Shelton
